(i.e. Parks, Recreation, Open Space, Development of Water Resources, etc.)
One such SNPLMA Auction offered a 2,053 acre track of raw desert UNIMPROVED land, with no water rights or utilities, which ultimately sold in 2005, to a developer consortium, for ~$360,000,000… which represented a cost of over $175,000 per acre…! Smaller Auction Tracks in the 40 acre to 120 acre of SNPLMA land has sold for more than $283,000 per acre…!
